Year-round soccer classes for players age 3-5. Classes last for 50 minutes and introduce players to the game of soccer in a fun and engaging way.

Youth soccer camps are offered during school breaks throughout the year. Registration is open for ages 5-14 depending on the camp.

Soccer Director: Jacob Sorenson
Jacob has been a part of Whatcom County soccer since starting his playing career at U6 for the Ferndale Red Lions. Ever since that first season, he has been a part of this community in one way or another through WCYSA rec leagues, WFC Rangers, WCASA outdoor leagues, Sportsplex indoor leagues, and Bellingham United. Jacob attended and played for Biola University before returning to Whatcom County and working for WSR in 2021 as part time office staff. A year later, Jacob started full-time as the Team Operations manager for United and Blazers before transitioning to the Sportsplex Soccer Director role.
Frequently Asked questions
Players should wear clothing and shoes they are comfortable being athletic in. Cleats and shin guards are welcome but not required.
