Bellingham is the perfect city for a new premier level soccer club in the Northwest. With Western Washington University and Whatcom Community College in the region, there will be a solid player pool to draw from. Bellingham is a very soccer-rich area, with facilities such as Northwest Soccer Park, Civic Field and Whatcom Community College’s Orca Field, and with significant youth player development programs in WFC Rangers and Whatcom County Select. Bellingham is a proud city, which acts very independent of it’s larger brethren to the north and south, in Vancouver and Seattle.
